Delhi to Manali (Overnight Transit)

Your high-altitude expedition begins with an overnight AC Volvo bus trip from Delhi to Manali. Rest well during the journey as you transition from the plains to the tall mountains.

Arrival in Manali and Acclimatization

Reach Manali in the morning and check into your stay. Use this day to acclimatize to the rising altitude, explore the local cafes, or visit the old town lanes. Gather for a comprehensive trip briefing in the evening where you will meet your co-travelers. Over-night stay in Manali.

Manali to Kaza via Atal Tunnel and Kunzum Pass

Board your rugged terrain vehicles early in the morning. Drive through the structural marvel of the Atal Tunnel and enter the rugged terrain of Lahaul. Climb up the spectacular Kunzum Pass at 14,931 feet, where you will pay respects at the hilltop temple before descending into the heart of Spiti Valley. Arrive at Kaza by evening. Kaza Local Exploration (Highest Villages and Key Monastery)

Kaza to Key Monastery to Hikkim to Langza to Kaza Details: Spend the day exploring Spiti’s iconic landmarks. Visit the iconic Key Monastery perched dramatically on a hilltop. Drive up to Hikkim to send a postcard from the world's highest post office, and walk through Langza village to marvel at the giant Buddha statue facing the snow peaks. Return to Kaza for the night. Kaza to Chandratal Lake Camping

Bid farewell to Kaza and drive back toward Kunzum Pass, taking the diversion road that leads to the mystical Chandratal Lake (The Moon Lake). Park your vehicles and take a short walk to the majestic, crescent-shaped water body. Watch the water change colors as the sun moves. Head to the designated campsite area nearby for an authentic cold-desert camping experience. Over-night stay in camps near Chandratal.

Chandratal to Manali and Departure to Delhi

After an early breakfast, trace the rugged mountain roads back toward Manali. Arrive in Manali by afternoon with plenty of memories. Board your evening return Volvo bus back to Delhi, concluding your Spiti Short Circuit. Arrive in Delhi early the next morning.
