Planned Itinerary

Day 1: Manali to Jobra (Drive) then Trek to Chika

Your adventure begins in Manali. Take a scenic, winding drive through pine forests up to Jobra, the official starting point of the trek. From Jobra, start a gentle trek alongside the rushing Rani Nallah river, walking through lush green meadows until you reach the beautiful campsite at Chika. Over-night stay in riverside tents at Chika.

Chika to Balu Ka Ghera

Today's trek takes you higher up the valley. You will navigate rock fields and cross freezing glacial streams while watching the tree line fade behind you. Arrive at Balu Ka Ghera, a gorgeous, flat riverbed surrounded by towering snow-dusted peaks. Over-night stay in camps at Balu Ka Ghera.

Balu Ka Ghera to Hampta Pass to Sheagoru (The Crossover Day)

The big summit day. Wake up early for a steep, challenging ascent to the top of Hampta Pass. At the summit, enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the contrasting valleys. After celebrating at the pass, begin a steep, thrilling descent into the stark, dry terrain of the Lahaul valley to reach the Sheagoru campsite. Over-night stay in high-altitude camps at Sheagoru.

Sheagoru to Chatru (Trek) then Chandratal Excursion

Complete a short downhill trek from Sheagoru through rugged mountain terrain to reach the road-head at Chatru. From Chatru, board a vehicle for an unforgettable drive to the world-famous, pristine Chandratal Lake (The Moon Lake). Spend time soaking in the magical blue waters and reflections before driving back to Chatru for your final night. Over-night stay in camps at Chatru.

Chatru to Manali

After breakfast, pack your bags and bid farewell to the mountains of Lahaul. Enjoy a scenic return drive back to Manali via the iconic Atal Tunnel, bringing your unforgettable Himalayan trek to an end.
